This map is so cool! It shows things like IndianCemeteries, trading posts, trails &traces sites of battles, forts, block houses, and camps of Indians and white men to name a few things identified onthe key. Specificsidentified and dated that Ithought were neat were, \" salt lick nearwhere Kenton fought TecumsehMarch1792\", \"Piqua destroyed by Clark 1780\", \"where Fox & party killed Frenchman 1793\", \"Camp Lewis 1774\", & \"where Col. McGary killed Moluntha a Shawnee Chief 1786\" to namea few. It measures roughly 42\" by 33 1/2\". I thin the condition is clear fromthe pictures. I can get you more upon request. There are coordinateslightlypencilled in at various points onthe map, onebegin identified at \"84 degrees 14\'2 Hamilton\'s Co Line, (I think it then reads) Clermont\". Some of my pictures aren\'t to clear, but don\'t worry, all the print and pencilled in marks arecrispand clear, mycamerawas not always cooperating with me. You can see onthe back at the bottom W. M. Dawley has hand written \"Maps of Indian Trails and Villages inthe VirginiaMilitaryDistrict\" and \"Pleasereturn… and provides an address in Lakewood, Ohio.
The map has a long tear atthe topmeasuring8 1/2\"and a smaller one at the bottom running through the word, \"Kentucky\" about 3\" long. I think the condition of the map is clear fromthe pictures, but please feel free to contact me withquestions. I also have a very beat upearl Ohio map listed. I do combine shipping.
