Original Vintage 1950s Tom\'s Peanut Half jar.
VintageTom\'s Peanut glass half jar is in great condition, no chips or cracks, with Tom\'s peanut logo and writing, nice and clear glass, Tom\'s logo dark blue, size is 4\" tall and 7\" wide,EMBOSSED on the bottom it has PROP. TOM\'S DISTB. NOT TO BE SOLD.
These Tom\'s peanut half jars were made in the 1950s when Tom\'s peanutjars were change fromthe 5 cent black jar to the Tom\'s blue jar.
Tom\'s peanut half jars were made for about one year and not many made and don\'t come up on very often.
Tom\'s peanut half jars did not come with lids.
Tom\'s peanut half jars were made for store counter use, Tom\'s peanuts were used in them also Tom\'s 1c candies and 1c gum, also at the time Tom\'s had small sample peanuts and Tom\'s used these half jar displays at new gro. store openings and they were giving away as the door prize.
