An original M1907 sling. Sling is marked L-F. Co. and dated 1917. It also has the inspector stamps (F.B.K.). The sling is well worn and has some cracking and slight tears as can be seen in photos, so it is best not to use this to carry a rifle. But it is an original to match up with your WW1 era rifle.
