Nice and interesting German WWI M16 helmet with most of the original liner which was marked on the front by the soldier that picked it up from the battlefield. It is hard to read, but the parts that can be made out are German Front Line 3-20-18. The inside is stamped Q66, indicating manufacture by Quist in Esslingen/Neckar and it is a size 66. No dents, cracks or repairs. The liner is mostly present, and has the leather band. The chinstrap is a little brittle, but is still intact. Very cool historical piece.
