Also listing in sequence amother-of-pearl hand-carved\"sweetheart-mother\'s\" pin/broochfrom the same estate. Totally genuine and original, this fine pair of World War II-era sterling silver glider pilot wings came directly out of the jewelry box of a local veteran\'s estate. The gentleman served in the U. S. Army Air Corps, but I don\'t have information on whether he served in the European or Pacific theaters.
I\'ve left the wings untouched and unpolished, just as-found. Clearly stamped \"Sterling\" on the reverse. The wings are 1 1/2\" in width and retain their original pin with locking clasp. Aside from the tarnish, condition is excellent.
