Original 1944 Dated carry case for the M1 carbine.
Unfortunately, this case has been abused over its life but it is all here.
The leather tab stitching has broken away but I have the tab and besides being on the dry side, it is in good shape.Bag material itself is in good shape with the exception of a small hole near the tip as pictured and some soil/scuff marks here and there.
The real down side is that someone inked out the US on the side with marker as well as wrote a name and address on the case.
Zipper works fine and nicely marked on the inside.
