Orivit Art Nouveau Pewter Dish 2057 with Glass Liner Circa 1905:

An Art Nouveau 2 handled pewter dish by Orivit with it\'s original glass liner. As you can see from the photos it is decorated to the outside with what looks like cherries on one side and blackberries on the other. The dish stands on 4 bun feet and is clearly marked to the base Orivit 2057(see photo 6.) I would imagine this dish was made circa 1905.
Condition. The pewter has its original dark finish although there are a some very minor flakes to thesurface. The pewter has no dents, bends or repairs and the glass liner fits nice and snug. The glass liner itself has no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have2 or 3 pin head size niks just to the top of the rim. They are so shallow that they are really not noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. There are also some of what I would say look like light water marks to the base of the glass dishand some light scratches.
Approx Size. Diameter excluding handles isjust under17cm and including handles just over 20.5cm. Height of pewter and liner together (excluding handles) is 4.5cm
