This ornate large antique sterling silver box measures 6 x 4 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches and weighs 13.3 ounces on my postal scale, 377 grams on jewelers scale. It has a latch with a loop so a padlock can be used to lock it. It is in excellent condition and was purchased from a Southern US Estate. It has a gorgeous flower pattern on all exterior surfaces except the bottom. See photos for full description.
