Luxurious,vintageetched mirror tray made from a metal alloy that seemsmeantto be slate-gray or black. This is not tarnished silver. The ARTDECO design of the edges and handles are sumptuous!
The etched mirror hassome deterioration of the mirror backing BUT that can easily be repaired bypopping the mirror out and having the back refinished IF you want it to looklike it did in 1920. The mirror hasno chips or cracks in it. Somepeople actually like this type of mirror age deterioration and actuallydistress vintage mirrors for this effect BUT EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS TRAY ISAUTHENTIC!
The specs in the mirror in picture #4 (with the ruler) is the reflection of my office ceiling tiles and NOT a defect in the mirror.
The back liner isstunning and undamaged, see picture #5. Has foundry initials of PNCWunderneath each handle, but I don\'t know what that means.
The tray itself is13.5\" long, 8\" wide, and stands 1\" high. It is heavy,about 4 pounds, so shipping is a bit higher.
