This is a beautifully carved small cedar chest with a nice picture embossed on the cover within an eight sided shape of an outdoor forest scene with a walk bridge. It measures 11\"x 6 1/4\"x 4 3/8\"high.It has a wonderful elaborately carved top and front, with handles on the sides.It also has a footed bottom.It has 1940 written on the bottom,but is not verified.I do firmly believe it is at least 50+ years old.Inside the top is a exquisite mirror in perfect condition embellished with gold outlining.It also has a great golden metal surrounding the perimeter .It comes with it\'s own padlock and two keys. Truly a very nice work of art.
