Orville Wright signed photo of thefirst flight. The image is approximately 3 ¼ x 5, printed on a 6 ¼ x 4 ½ sheetwith a typed caption “First Man-Flight, December 1, 1903 Kitty Hawk, N.C.” Wright’s black inksignature is fresh and strong made even more attractive by being neatly writtenentirely in the white border. There is some soiling at the edges and spottingin the image which appears to be from the production of the picture. There issome minor glue residue on the back from mounting. Overall a superior signed exampleof this iconic photo.
