Up for sale very rare antique 1942 Tornax k125motorcycle made in Germany. It comes with JLO engine number # 265655 and frame number for Tornax bike is 21898Bike odometer shows 22392 kilometers.
Bike comes as pictured, it is being offered in \"as is\"condition, what you see is what you will get, nowarranty of any kind.Bike will come with official Bill of Sale, there is no title for it.Bike will also come withcarburetor not pictured, it has broken off fittingconnector, but still might be usable. Bike will need some hardware tocomplete misc. bolts etc, exhaust bolts on the engine muffler, chain, air intake, spark plug wire, sprocketstarter cover on right side. During the Second World War Tornax reduced its range to one model, theK 125with a 125 cc ILO engine. All Tornax motorcycle production stopped in 1941, and thefactorywas destroyed byAlliedbombingin March 1945.

In 1948 Tornax resumed K 125 production. It steadily expanded its range with larger single-cylinder two-stroke ILO engines, culminating in 1953 with a twin-cylinder model, theZ-250Schwarze Josephine(\"Black Josephine\") which has a two-stroke ILO-engine producing 15bhp (11kW).

In 1954 Tornax built its first four-stroke models since 1939: theV 250andSV 250. These haveunit construction250 cc engines from Opti inEssen, mounted in a frame that hasswinging-armrearsuspensionand typically GermanEarles front fork.

Tornax ceased motorcycle production in 1955. The company\'s total production in its 29 year existence was about 50,000 vehicles.
