This is a beautifully designed 2 1/4\" x 3 3/8\" card with color images of the mission patch for flight STS-77 and an emblem of the Space Shuttle Program. Attached to the card is an authentic piece of gold foil that was part of an insulating blanket flown in space as part of Space Shuttle Endeavour during the STS-77 mission.
The scan makes it appear that the foil is black. Actually it\'s shiny gold and quite impressive!
This piece of foil spent 10 days in space orbiting the earth.
The entire piece is professionally laminated to keep the flown artifact and the card in pristine condition for many, many years.
