Beautiful pair of Doulton Burslem Flow Blue, Gold Accent hand painted bulbous bud vases, approximately 2 7/8\" high. If you are interested in only 1 of these, please contact me.

Rare and unique pair of floral Doulton vases, circa 1892 - 1899.

Vases are identical in size, shape, and have hand painted gold accents on the top and bottom rims, and gold application within the design on the vases. The actual gold leafy motifs do vary between vases, with one vase having slightly larger \'leaf\' like motifs (has Corolian Ware printed on bottom).

One vase (the one always photographed on the right, and with the larger gold accents) has the additional marking of Corolian Ware on the bottom, while the other does not, but the stamps on both identify them from the same period. They both have the Doulton Burslem factory stamp used between 1892-1902. These are Robert Allen Studio pieces, which were not produced in large quantities and are one of a kind, rare items. The RA Studio numbers on both of these pieces is RA 1645, indicating design between 1892-1897. So, the pieces had to be made between 1892-1897.

Both vases are in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks or crazing. They don\'t look touched up at all. On one vase it looks like there is additional gold that ended up in a couple of small touches of gold in 2 places - not noticeable unless looking for it.
