For sale we offer a gorgeous Pair of 19th century French Bookends featuring the famous bust of poet Dante Alighieri. They are made of bronze in beautiful chocolate patina, affixed to a extinct Rouge Marble base. Condition of the bronze busts is very good, bases are good, one has a hairline split across the middle that was most likely repaired way back (please see the photos). Each bookend is 6.75\" wide, 5.25\" tall, and 3.25\" deep. Great for use as a bookend, excellent collection addition and a great gift idea !
