Great find!
These towels are from the 1890s
They are handmade from a home spun oatmeal nubby linen.
They are floppy and soft.
They measure 38\" x 15 1/2\" and 50 1/2\" x 15 1/4\"
Very good condition.
The longer towel has one pinhole and there is a light mark in the middle as shown in the photos.
This charming pair of towels are from a fine collection that was acquired on trips thru the French countryside during the 1970s. First time to market.
