This is a pair of antique Japanese shoes made to bind the feet of the women. They broke the toes and bound the feet to a size so small they could not walk. This pair is gray and black with embroidered flowers on suede. The bottoms are leather with wooden heels nailed with wooden pegs into the heels. These barbaric shoes are beautifully made. They measure 3\"high x 7\" long x 2\" wide and are in very good condition for their age.
