RARE PALM LEAF INDIAN MANUSCRIPT Probable Buddhist manuscript, on palm leaves, appears to be Sinhalese alphabet/ Sri Lanka. 50 leaves, as shown with carved writing; leaves with nice patina and dual holes drilled, with twine through the holes, capped with sun shaped hand carved metal ends. Wooden covers hand painted, worn and rubbed, as shown, with beveled edges. Unknown age, but guessing based on patina and presentation would be c1800-1900. Measures 17\" x 2.25\" x 1.75\" thick.
