Antique Japanese Hand-shaped Pottery Tea Bowl, Shigaraki ware, 19C
Condition
As shown in the pictures, it\'s good condition for the age. No any damages occurred after the manufacturing. There are some original natural pottery cracks, which occurred in the time of the manufacturing, because of the nature of this pottery & the old technique (Please refer to the pictures to check them).

Description of item
This is an antique Japanese hand-shaped pottery tea bowl of Shigaraki Ware, which was made around the end of 19 century (about 120-130 years ago).
The wooden storage box (no signature) is also included.
Shigaraki ware is pottery and stoneware made in Shigaraki area, Japan. The kiln is one of \'The Six Old Kilns\' in Japan. Although figures representing the Raccoon Dog are a popular product included as Shigaraki ware, the kiln and local pottery tradition has a long history.
