PIERO FORNASETTI Rare Vintage 1950s Italian Milano Jewellery Box This is a rare original vintage/period Piero Fornasetti jewellery box from the 1950s. It has an enamelled metal cover with Fornasetti\'s iconic steam powered paddle ship on a cream background with a sliding dovetail jointed wooden mahogany inner compartment. The enamel is lithographically printed and hand coloured. Manufactured by Fornasetti Milano.Date: Circa 1950.Size: 18.5cm wide x 11cm deep x 4.5cm high.Condition: In excellent condition with very minor wear only commensurate with age. There are no untoward scratches or chips to the enamel.
