The art of Numdah came from Yark and and Sinkiang regions of Central Asia during Silk Route Trading days. It stayed to become an indigenous craft of Kashmir. The WOOL is embroidered with a hook in bold designs and assortment of colors. This art was later enhanced by Kashmiri craftsmen by adding colorful embroidery to give it a warm and cozy feel.
