Superb postal card from Schutzhaftling Wlodzimir Kononowicz, Prisoner No 4503, Field V, K(onzentrations) L(ager) Waffen SS Lublin to Nadiya Kulisza in Pruzana, Bialystok Province, sent 27 November 1944.
There is small red cross mark and and a purple handling mark of K.L.Lublin.Majdanek was generally referred to as Waffen SS Lager Lublin and was both a concentration camp and a death camp. ITS MAIL IS VERY RARE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION
Bialystok was not incorporated in the General Government and was in the control of the German Military.
