WW1 Vintage USN Spotting Scope - Mark 11 Model 1. Markings on the optics include the following (see photos): Manufacturer F.J.C. ( FJC ), Naval anchor mark or stamp, serial no. 1070 - Patent Dates March 17, 1903, September 1, 1903, November 1, 1904, November 14, 1905 and May 7, 1907. An \"UP\" is stamped into the upper front of the sight. Mark IX U.S.N. Mod 1 is stamped near the eyepiece end. Heavy patina. Lenses need cleaning. A simple crosshair sight can be seen inside. A small chip is present at the eyepiece. Optical power is not marked on the body anywhere.
