Pair (2) Empoli Italian Mid Century Large Amethyst Purple Decanters 26\"
Two beautiful amethyst hand blown glass decanters circa early 1960s
These two Mid-Century floor-style Empoli Italian art glass decanters are very tall and attractive statement pieces!
Conical in shape, the first decanter measures 25.5” tall to the tip of the stopper and is 6” in diameter at the base. There are no chips, breaks, or cracks whatsoever.
The second decanter has a bottle style neck that tapers up to the stopper. Measures 26” tall and has a very stout 6.5” diameter base. The stopper on this decanter has broken on the inside tip which is not visible from the exterior. * The very last photo above shows a bubble; a slight imperfection formed during manufacture. It is NOT a chip :)
Any visible imperfections are very minor and shown in images above along with pontil marks.
