This is a pair of original Eastlake style Victorian folding chairs (one rocker and one sewing chair) with gorgeous and very old blue floral needlepoint upholstery. Although the upholstery matches, the wooden chair frames are not identical but are similar in style. The rocker is in excellent original, sturdy, solid condition with only very minor wear consistent with age and use. Nothing is broken and there are a but a couple very small superficial cracks, and there might be a tiny round wooden finial missing from the middle of the crest on top of the chair back (there is a hole where something might have once been attached). The upholstery is excellent with some minor fading. The chair has heavier wear to the finish, especially around the legs and spindles underneath, but it too has the original finish and is in very good solid, sturdy condition otherwise with no major damage and the frame appears to be complete. Upholstery is excellent on that one as well. Both chairs fold almost flat and are perfectly usable. The rocker measures 31 1/2\" H x 17 3/4\" across the arms, the rockers on the bottom are 26\" L, and the seat is 15\" off the floor. The chair measures 33 1/2\" H x 18 1/2\" across the arms, and the seat is 15\" off the floor. They will be packed securely in a heavy duty double walled box and fully insured during shipping. Because of the size and weight of the package, shipping will only be available within the lower 48 states.
