Offeredis this charming PAIR of fine porcelain china figurines depicting a boy with hisdog and a girl with her lamb. These figures were made in Dresden, Germany, byCarl Thieme after the company was reopened in 1961.

Thesehand painted figures stand about 5 inches high (13 cm).

Thebarefoot boy is wearing blue-striped knee pants, white shirt and beige jacket.His blond hair is covered by a black hate with brown hatband ornamented withhand modeled porcelain flowers. He holds a horn or flute-like instrument in hishand. The dog holds up one paw, probably signifying something in canine-speak.

Theyoung woman is dressed in peasant attire with a patterned skirt protected fromsoiling by a pink apron. She wears a white blouse under her pastel yellowbodice. Her blond hair is shielded from the sun by a pink hat festooned withcolorful plumes and a single porcelain flower. The girl holds a wreath offlowers and foliage in her hand. We then wrap it in bubble wrap, which some maycall polybubble. At that point we put it in a box, with packing peanuts ifneeded to keep it from moving around. Next we put the first box inside anotherbox with packing peanuts. When we ship any porcelain, we provide shippinginsurance. We have successfully shipped Dresden porcelain to Malaysia, China,Russia and other international destinations, plus many locations in the UnitedStates.
