These areavintage pair of greyhound whippet or borzoi sculptured bookends. I believe they are bronze metal sculptures.

I can\'t find any markings on them, but someone has listed a singlestatuesimilar to this on - they are saying is was manufactured by Toyo from Korea.

Ican tell you that thesebookends that has been in our family for many years. The detail of thegreyhound\'s muscles, facial features, collar, etc. is awesome. The overall bookend measures approx 11\" tall x 4 3/4\" x 3 1/2\" - The greyhound is approx 6 1/2\" tall X 3 1/2\" (tail to nose)long X 2 1/4\" wide - the base it is sitting on is approx 4 1/4\" tall x 4 3/4\" long x 3 1/2\" wide

The dogs do have some patina on them & the bases have some wearing -as youcansee in thephotos - but they are beautiful pieces
