This is a pair of vintage Royal Doulton Nursery Rhymes seriesware beakers with silver plated handles and each beaker stands 3 1/2 inches high (excluding the handle) and measures 2 1/2 inches across the top. These beakers are from Royal Doulton\'s Nursery Rhymes Series \"L\" and are based on illustrations by the well known artist Ann Anderson. The Nursery Rhymes Series \"L\" was introduced into production in 1916 and withdrawn by 1940 and on the base of both beakers you can see the earlier Royal Doulton trademark in green. One beaker has the title \"Little Miss Muffet\" and the other \"Sing a Song of Sixpence\" and both have colorful scenes from these nursery rhymes. The condition of both beakers is good with no cracks, nicks, damage or restoration and the colours are bright and crisp. The silver plated handles are also in good condition with no cracks or damage although one handle sits slightly to the side on the beaker but nothing that the buyer can\'t easily sort out!. For accuracy in my description I will point out that there is some very light crazing to the bases only and a small stain mark to the inside of one of the beakers but nothing too serious or detracts in any way. This pair of Royal Doulton Nursery Rhymes Series \"L\" beakers with silver plated handles, together with scenes and titles from \"Miss Muffet\" and \"Sing a Song of Sixpence\", would make an ideal gift or a great addition to any collection.
