1970's set of two fold-up TV tables on a stand
made from 100% lucite and without a trace of metal
to the tables themselves exceptthe joinery screws
open table: 20" long x 15" deep x 3/8" thick x 25" high
stand with tables: 20" long x 10" deep x 30" high handle
weight: table/8.75 lb + stand/3.25 + table/8.75 = 20.75 lbs.
lucite stand had two small metal supports on each side
overwhich a table is suspendedwhen not in use; wide and
deepstance of the feet allows for self-standing, whether
there are none, one or two tables in reposeunderneath, a single table-length lucite dowel at
the tables edgedoubles asthebar from which the
tables are suspended on the rack; when open, the
dowelslides along the bottomof the top surface in
conjunction with the movement ofthe unfolding legs
and is ultimately lockedin place by two lucite brackets
on theopposite side underneathto ensure support and
stability --(hats off to the designing engineer)
condition
with the exception of one area in particular on one table,
condition of setis extremely good, showing what this
seller believes to be less than the typicalmostly minor
surface marks one can expect after 40+ years of occasional
use along withverylittle clouding oryellowing expectone table shows an area with light traces of glue or some
dried substance and minor surface marks (see detail image);
any commercial acrylic cleaner and/or polisher can neutralize
much of the visibility of this area shippingby FEDEX ground with packing materials, shipping and
full insurance paid by winner; it is likely that the stand's
two feet will be removed from the base for a safer trip;
two screws per side -- total of 4 screws altogether -- will
then have tobe re-assembled on delivery
