An attractive pair of antique parcel gilt silver bottle holders having decorative pierced sides with applied niello work. Decorated by hand, each has minor variations.
Weight 460 grams, 14.7 troy ounces.
Diameter 12.5 cms.
Spread 19 cms.
Height 8.5 cms.
Stamped underneath with Russian silver marks.
Circa 1950.
Condition: These colourful Russian silver coasters are in very good condition with no restoration. The marks are clear. The gilding and niello work is not worn. There is a slight crease on the top edge of one coaster.Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
