Parry Vieille is one of thePremier Makers of hand paintedporcelain Limoges boxes. There are only a handful of Premier makers,defined as thosethat createandhand-paintthese boxes from start to finish. The PVmanufacturermark is proof of authenticity.
This is a cylindrical box hand painted in shades of blue with gold accent with bas relief white flowers. It measures 1\" in diameter x 2.75\" high, in perfect condition, with no scuffs, chips or marks of any kind. The fittings are perfectly aligned and the clasp, in the shape of a basket of flowers, snaps closed securely. Authentic markings are on the bottom. I\'ve been collecting, buying and selling Limoges boxes since my first trip to France many years ago.
