Product Description

Pelikan launched a range of very special limited edtions in 1997 under the heading \"Originals of their Time\". Through these limited editions, Pelikan brought out the most attractive fountain pens from its early productions (i.e. historic model 100) to allow more pen collectors to enrich their collections with pieces that could scarcely be found in the market place. The editions are made exactly like the historic models - handcrafted on the lathes from Celluloid and hard rubber, and the gold sleeve came out almost 100 % like the original.

This Pelikan \"Originals of Their Time\" white goldlimited edition fountain pen is created in 2001 using the M100 model as its basic style. This is the second of a 3 pen series recreation of the 1931 vintage Pelikan. These limited edition pens were created to pay homage to the city of Toledo, Spain and are often referred to as the \'Toledo\' series. It is a piston-fill pen with the base twist knob of black hard rubber, and the upper barrel section containing a transparent viewing ink reservoir. The clip and accents are a heavy gold plate, while the barrel is covered in a sheath of heavy white gold showing a horizontal guilloche design.

This is a New Old Stock (NOS), It has never been inkedor dipped. This pen comes with 18k old styled single toned M nib. Only 1931 pieces were made. This pen is definitely a necessary collectible item for Pelikanwriting instrument collectors.
