The Pixar Animation Studios Series is a 50 pin framed set limited to 15 sets worldwide and was first released at the Disney Store at the 2017 D23 Expo. The pins are early sketches for characters from various Pixar films and contain a mix of 3 different size pins with plated enamel on the mini frames. Pins are metal with 2 posts. The backs of the pins have the Disney Store and the 2017 pin trading logos, cDisney, cDisney/Pixar, Limited Edition 15, edition limitee 15, China, Chine printed on the back. Pin measures 5 cm x 4 cm features a color sketch of a blue female monster from Monsters Inc.
