They became known as “Carnival Chalk,” orChalkware. My Dad won this guy for my Mom at such a carnival inAlexandria, VA in the year of their marriage, 1934...

Thispainted (original, untouched) collectible carnival figure has a crackaround his legs, near where the base & ankle area were broken offand glued back together. There are several small scratches &small areas where paint is missing. He has the expected wear for apiece over 85 years old, yet looks great overall. Please study thephotos carefully. Note the date and “Washington, DC” marked onthe rear.
