Pair of 1900 Moravian Pottery Sconces - Two sailing ships tile for single candles by Henry Mercer. Early matte blue base color with tan ship & cinnamon color highlights - see photos. These are unmarked which verifies the actual design by Mercer - later items are signed & dated. They are in mint condition with sole defect being a small back surface edge \"ding\" - about 1/4\" & some light crazing on one piece - see photo. No other problems - Made by Mercer. Rare to have survived. They have a cover glass piece over screw heads for hanging the pair. 4 1/2\" x 11\" x 3 1/2.\"
