M1912 First Pattern Dismounted Pistol Belt c. 1912-14

Original first pattern M1912 dismounted pistol belt, light OD green ribbed web construction with brass hardware throughout, well marked with Mills bullet logo and patent date JAN. 29 1901 on adjuster tab. Differs fromlater production belts in several ways: [1] Single sliding brass keeper instead of two. [2] No snap for pistol magazine pouch. [3] The first nine inches of the left side of the belt do not have center row of adjustment eyelets. These features are indicative of belts made prior to 1914, when the extra keeper, extra adjuster eyelets, and mag pouch snap were introduced. Belt is faded and soiled from years of use withlight fraying to edges, and most of the eyelets show some degree of oxidation. Still a good \"filler\" example of a very hard to find early piece of US web gear from the eagle snap period and is in fair condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
