The boys left hand has a separation but this does not affect the movement (see photos). The rest of this animated musical figurine is lovely. I have tested the cord and the power. It turns on and off as it should, and you can set it to play \"O Come All Ye Faithful\" as well as light and move -- or you can choose to use just the light and animation without the music. Comes complete with its original Styrofoam packaging and box, and those are in great condition with normal shelf wear.
