A genuine Autographed check of Abraham Lincoln\'s 1st son; Robert Todd Lincoln, who was his only son who survived to adulthood. Born to Abraham & Mary Lincoln, Robert (1843- 1926) was a Captain with General US Grant when his father- the President was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. Robert later became Secretary of War, and then U.S. Minister to Great Britain. This very Rare check was drawn from his personal account with his Robert T. Lincoln name on the left end, and it is dated 1919 with Robert\'s bold signature. He filled out all the check\'s details in his own hand. The document is inkstamped & punch cancelled, but those do not affect the signature. The check was drawn from his account at the Continental and Commercial National Bank of Chicago, Illinois. The check was printed by the American Bank Note Company.
