Egbert T. Curtis was manager of The Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. He would routinely send FDR a detailed listing of expenses and Roosevelt would send a check for payment. Bank checks seldom have as much handwriting as this one does: twenty-two words in Roosevelt’s hand.
