First Day Cover signed by both President Harry Truman and first lady Bess Truman andMrs. Palmer who was Harry and Bess Truman\'s teacher. In very good condition. The postmark is from 1973 and President Truman died in December of 1972, however, the signatures were obtained on the envelope prior to his death. In addition, the post office waits 5 years after a President dies before they issue stamps of the President. The collector obtained the signatures then waited to get the postmark then put the stamp on the envelope to complete the item. It\'s really nice with terrific signatures by both. Comes with an original COA from Todd Mueller Autographs.
