Description:President Herbert Hoover Political Campaign Token 1928 BU

This is a SCARCE HIGH GRADE Presidential Political Campaign Token for Herbert Hoover. This Token was struck in Aluminum Bronze in 1928. The Token has an Elephant on the obverse and the inscription \"Good For 4 Years of Prosperity\" on the reverse.

Hoover campaigned in 1928 offering Prosperity for the country. He was elected the 31st President in 1929, easily defeating Democrat Al Smith because the nation was prosperous and optimistic at the time. Unfortunately, in 1929, the Stock market crashed beginning the start of the Great Depression. Hoover never saw a second term.

This Token measures 25 mm in diameter. The token has a faint line on the planchett on the obverse otherwise grades in BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED Condition.

Express Mail shipping charge will be $39.50 (14 ounces or less).
