A fabulous Edwardian jewellery or trinket box made from solid sterling silver, beautifully shaped and sloping down from back to front. The lid is decorated with exquisite repousse or embossed decoration. Standing on four elegant legs, the box is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 together with the makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.
Excellent condition spanning 4\" x 2 1/4\" standing 1 5/8\" at the back and 1 3/8\" at the front.
