Offered today is a tea cup & saucer from an unknown Chinese Co which is a modern reproduction based on the Ming Dynasty (a friend translated the text on the bottom of the cup). The cup has a beautiful Oriental pattern in blue and red with Chinese characters on the bottoms of both the cup & saucer The cup has a top OD of 3 1/2\" and from far rim to the tip of the handle is 4 1/2\". The set is 2 1/2\" in height and the OD of the saucer is 5 3/4\". Unpacked, the set weighs 11.8 ounces.
