Primer #2 first appearance of Matt Wagners antihero GRENDEL. This NM- copy is extraordinary as it appears as clean and crisp as the day it hit the stands at St. Charles fantasy shop. There are only a few creases on the covers spine and another above the M of primer. All edges are sharp. No foxtailing on corners. All pages intact with a slight off white to cream color. This amazing book represents the rise of independent publishing and artist owned rights. Grendel, the flaming carrot, and Cerebus were my favorites as a teenager.
