Sassafras Lane Whimsies presents for your consideration a large primitive,vibrant yellow-orange with green stripes, wool pumpkin make do, nodder, or shelf sitter:
"Harvest Thyme Blessings"I created this pumpkin from 100% wool fabric. I enhanced the pumpkin with green and orange stripes which I hand-painted with fabric paint. I sewed each section of the pumpkin together then turned it inside out and stuffed it very firmly. I gave it a hand-created wool stem which I enhanced with green fabric paint. The tendrils were created using natural wood that I removed the bark from. I also added a few sprigs of live bittersweet berries to the top of the pumpkin and an assortment of hand-created fabric leaves around the bottom of the pumpkin. There is also a "bed" of dried corn husks underneath the leaves. This very plump pumpkin sits upon 5 rusty springs. The tag has been secured with an old rusty pin and reads, "Harvest Thyme Blessings".
They pumpkin rocks back and forth slowly if lightly touched.This pumpkin has an 34" circumference and is 13" tall (not including the springs).
