I bought this letter directly from a member of Prince Charles staff in 2002 for $7,000.00. Here is your chance to own a piece of royal history from the Future King of EnglandA handwritten thank you note dated December 27th 1990 on Sandringham House headed notepaper from His Royal Highness Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales. It is to Anthony Burrows the personal accountant to the Prince and Princess of Wales at the time. It reads:
To everyone: the office and on the staff---
I can\'t thank you all enough for that wonderful present you gave me for Christmas. For those who can\'t remember what it was, (and for who the docked monthly pay cheque will no doubt reveal all!) it was some marvelous compact discs which will give enormous pleasure. It was good of you to remember your aging and demanding employer at Xmas time.
Thank you all, too, for the long hours, and often unsocial hours you put in on our behalf. Your labors are greatly appreciated, I can assure you. Whatever you do is very important because(can\'t read) ____-, people tend to judge us by the way you operate--- so you are, in so many ways, our ambassadors.
