$16000.00

This is from July 6, 1958 and is in immaculate condition and has been kept in its original unaltered state since it was created. All text and the masthead are all original. It features a full body King Arthur in the First panel right next to his name giving orders for war to his knights in Camelot. Prince Valiant is in every panel except for the tiniest one. It features the First Appearance of Lady Olivia and great images of Lady Aleta as well as Sir Edwin. It shows the knights saying goodbye to their loved ones before battle in case they don\'t come back. Also has Sir Edwin introducing his mother Lady Olivia and her saying please protect my son which becomes the catalyst for the whole story arc because he is unable to later at battle where he gets killed and goes crazy and throws his singing sword in the ocean and so on and so forth. Plus the last panel is pure Foster magic with Prince Valiant instructing the Knights on what they should expect and do in battle. Hard to find strips that feature this many important characters especially with such great images. Classic piece from a hard to find time period in amazing condition. Art has a very large 23 by 33.5 inch image area on a 24 by 34.5 inch art board. Scroll down for pics of each panel.
