Exquisite antique French Vermeil Sterling Silver Teaspoon Set, in the famed swan-bedecked Empire pattern by Emile Puiforcat. Handles are elegantly decorated both sides with classic Empire motifs - Swans with spreading wings, palmettes, laurel crowns, and pine cones. The backs are engraved with a decorative interlaced \"PG\" monogram. Each piece is stamped with the French Minerve 1st standard silver mark (.950), and maker\'s mark for renowned Parisian silversmith Emile PUIFORCAT, who commenced trading in 1857. Condition is excellent with only light signs of use, and the rich vermeil (18k gold on silver) is beautifully preserved.
