This is a Puma Bowie Knife model # 6396 which you don\'t see too often. I don\'t think the knife was ever used and it retains its original factory very sharp edge on the blade. The large clip-point blade is awesome and has sawteeth down near the hilt which is solid nickel silver. The blade is etched with 6396 Handmade ORIGINAL PUMA - BOWIE with Genuine Pumaster-Steel Germany along with the Puma logo. The fingerguard has the serial No. 40482 which would indicate that this knife was made in the 2nd quarter of 1984. Check out the perfectly matched Genuine Knarly Stag handles in the pictures as they are really something. The knife also comes in its original Puma Scabbard which is also in beautiful condition, but does have a few marks on the front side which show up very well in the pictures. The Puma Bowie is about 10 3/4 inches long from end to end, and has a blade length of about 6 1/2 inches long including the tang. The knife is just a rock solid beauty.
