Here ya go! This was in a collection inherited from my Dad, and he may have got it from Grandpa. Time to find these a new home. As far as I know, this is 100% natural and untreated. I know I have done nothing to it except keep it in storage.Occasionally searching in these inherited items I find specimens that have gold or silver attached. I am obsessed with it, even my house is painted the color of oxidized copper. Since then I have detected over 500 old, closed gold/silver and copper mines. My specimens have been collected not only in Alaska, but also the Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Montana and Michigan. My Dad hunted Mexico, and Grandpa brought some stuff back from Chile and Peru right after WW2. Picture taken with the 12 inch ruler. Rulers are for scale and are not included.
